California Governor Brown signs climate change trade agreement with Japan

California's Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. signed an agreement yesterday with Japan's Ambassador to the United States, Kenichiro Sasae, that will result in increased cooperation between the two governments on areas such as climate change , renewable energy, zero-emission vehicles, high-speed rail , and water issues. As a result of the agreement, Japan and California will collaborate on projects related to some of the most pressing environmental problems facing the world today.
