Cuomo unveils ambitious wind power agenda

Gov. Andrew Cuomo has unveiled his 2018 state of the state clean energy, jobs and climate agenda, including plans to develop 800 megawatts of offshore wind over the next two years and numerous other targets. Cuomo said the state also plans to invest $200 million to reach a goal of 1,500 megawatts of energy storage by 2025 and to create a free solar program for 10,000 low-income New Yorkers.
