Duke Energy unit lands service contract with Texas wind project

Duke Energy Renewable Services will provide operation and maintenance services for the 283-megawatt Gulf Wind energy project in Armstrong, Texas, under a long-term contract. The commercial unit of Charlotte-based Duke Energy Corp. says its deal with wind farm owner Pattern Energy Group Inc. is for three years, with the contract starting in November.
