Egypt plans to focus on rapidly developing solar and wind energy – Wednesday, 25 February 2015 21:54

According to Euro Convention global, Egypt has planed to add about 30,000 MW to installed capacity, almost doubling electricity generation in 2010-2020 and it has been set to optimize the legal and financial framework for further developments in the country's solar and wind sectors. There is a strong need for know-how and investment in a variety of projects featuring an annual investment in excess of USD 3 bn for generation, transmission and distribution, it added.
