RET uncertainty threatens further blow to South Australian industry

Doubts over the future of the Renewable Energy Target spell chaos for the states renewables industry just as its economy reels from the closure of carmakers and questions are raised over the future of its defence industry

The day Dick Warburton handed down his report of Australias Renewable Energy Target, uncertainty ripped through the clean energy industry.

In one press release, Andreas Nauan, chief executive of Senvion Australia, a windfarm builder, said any change to the RET would compromise the companys existing investments and damage Australias international reputation as a safe place to invest.
